Practical Magic 2 - A Short Movie Review
Premise on IMDB

"A multi generational family of witches, cursed to be loveless for centuries, attempts to break the spell by confronting dark secrets and sacrificing for each other."
First, I should confess that I didn't love Practical Magic 1, a 1998 film, but I did like it.
After all, I enjoy all movies, books, and TV shows to do with witches, wizards, sorcery, etc. My all-time favorite was, and always will be, Bewitched.
As for this sequel, first I checked out some reviews, and they were not kind. Sigh.
Still, I couldn't resist going myself. After all, not everyone has the same taste in entertainment.
To my vast surprised, I loved this movie!
From start to finish.
The movie starred Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, directed by Susanne Bier. This movie is well worth watching.
I enjoyed the plot, and that the movie takes us to England was a special bonus. There was character growth for both the main and side characters. And best of all, it had enough magic in it to satisfy my thirst for the subject. And what I didn't care for in the original, all that digging up of dead bodies and tinge of horror, had been replaced with actual suspense, wonderful storytelling, and heartfelt moments.

My magical movie review rating of Practical Magic 2 is a full 5 fairy godmother wands, for its sense of fun and family togetherness, along with a touch of romance and whimsy.
